Kemper County Lake – Next Saturday, June 11
Don’t know much about this Kemper County Lake but I did some research online and found some good reports. One angler caught three fish — one over 5, one over 6, and one that went 8 lbs. and a half dozen smaller ones in one outing. The lake is very clear and most of the big fish were caught in deep water. I would like for us to give this lake our best fish catching effort and just see what happens.
What a day some of you had at Lake Lincoln! Mike Wharton finally got the skunk off his season and caught a limit. Way to hang in there Mike!!! David Martin came from a big Zero last tournament and caught a monster bucketmouth that weighed 9 lbs. 2 ozs. That’s the second largest fish ever caught in a Believers’ tournament. Good job men!
First place team was James Allen and David Martin with 7 fish that went a whopping 26 lbs. 13 ozs. A close second was Jamie Allen and Charlie Bozeman with 8 fish that went 23 lbs. 15 ozs. I am amazed at what a great bunch of Christian men this club has that not only try to live for the Lord, but know how to catch fish. Keep inviting your friends and we will see 50 members soon.
Our next meeting will be at Ryan’s in Pearl, next Monday, June 6. See you there around 6:30 for food and fellowship. The meeting will start at 7:00.
See you there,
